Monday's Music Move Me...I Have the "C" Songs...Freebie Week #MondaysMusicMovesMe #AtoZChallenge

Hello all of my favorite musical peeps and welcome to those coming by from the A-Z April Blog Challenge. For those of you that are new here, every Monday I am co-host to Monday's Music Moves Me.

This great meme is hosted by Xmas Dolly  (who is also doing A-Z), and also co-hosted by my other two music pals, Stacy, and Colette!  Give them a shout-out and a follow please!

So, on to the music! This week we have a "freebie" week which means we share what we would like for you all to hear. Now, since it is also A-Z for me, we are on the letter "C". So, all my songs shares will be with that in mind. Let's go!

First up: Yesterday, April 3rd was the 5th anniversary of my Grandma's passing. My Dad passed away 3 months later in June. The song, "Cat's In The Cradle" by Harry Chapin came to mind. Bottom line, never wait.

Next up: It is too bad that the Big Bopper left the world so soon in life. Imagine what songs he would have written and sung, like this one, "Chantilly Lace".

Finally: It is supposed to be spring right now but some of us are still experiencing winter like conditions (not me, thank goodness). Anyway, I ran across a group the other day that I have always loved, The Mamas & The Papas. They spoke about dreaming about warm weather in their favorite place in this song, "California Dreaming".

Make sure you link up! Don't forget to visit my other blog and I will see you tomorrow for "D". ~Naila Moon

  8. My manager at the time Harry Chapin died was a big fan, and he was really upset by Harry's death.

For my money, the Mamas and Papas were nowhere near as good after Mama Cass died.

I'm sorry about your loss Naila. *HUGS*
